Thunder began planning MKFurs in December 2016. He wanted something just a little closer to home and assembled a team made up of Himself, Tiwolf, Nero and Monty. MKFurs held their first meet on the 26th January 2017 which was more successful than they could have dream off.

MKFurs continued growing in the following months, and in March of 2017, they moved to ground floor of the Draft House, just a few minutes up the road from the old Weatherspoons on Midsummer Bluvd.
