MK Furs - Meet I
The Weatherspoons meet
Our first meet could not have gone better if we tried. We started off the event expecting five people. We ended up with 14 fellow fuzzbuts at its peak.
We started at 4pm. We ended up staying till 10:30pm before one of us looked at the time and realised how late it was.
It was a wonderful atmosphere, we all had dinner together, had the most interesting conversations and exchanged art with each other. ThunderTom even got to learn how to draw.
Our third meet took place in a new home, the Draft House.
We met a few new faces this time around and there was a lot of drawing and doodling going on. Everyone ate more than their fair share of food and drank. I think we made the Draft House a nice bit of money.
There was a lot of amusement, especially when ThunderTomCat learnt that the “silly billy” beads from Sotonfurs had somehow, found their way to MKFurs. They were deployed by TTC when TiWolf was a little bit clumsy and spilled something on the table.
TiWolf was a little shocked, to say the least when they were awarded to him.
Do not worry. The beads were returned to their rightful owner in Southampton

This meet brought a few new faces to the group and reconnected us with friends.

We also got a little interest from BBC3 as we played host to the lovely Poppy who spend a good few hours with us, getting to know us all and understanding the fandom. - She'll have a fursona in no time.
​

We are the only fur-meet in the country that can boast that we held a murder mystery meet.
This was damn good meet. If you couldn't make it, you missed out on a treat, and it was one heck of a success. We held a murder mystry meet in collaboration with our friends at www.cluedupp.com. This meet had our furs go on a clue hunting adventure around Milton Keynes, interviewing witness and finding the identity of our killer.

You have already seen the scoreboard if you were playing, but for those who missed it, it's attached below. "Awesomness" won with a time of 2:36:31 (Brandon and Stefan)

The Dynamic Duo, that later become the Dynamic Foursome, solved the crime in 3:46:00. (Wei, Cubby, Ed, James)

One year Anni-furs-ary
Has it really been a year?
​
It was an epic meet. We moved up in the world (quite literally) to the Mezzanine floor of the Draft House and was one of our most successful meets yet.
​
We reconnected with old friends and introduced new furs into the MKFurs family.
We also trailed an earlier starttime of 1pm which had a positive response, so we shall be repeating that for our future meet.
Would you look at that. Thunder, Nero, Ti, Azzi, Tyr and Monty presented our SECOND Murder Mystery meet.
​
We played a brand new mystery and repeated the succss of last years murder mystery.
​
We can also boast that we are, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the coolest furmeets in the country.
